The combination of safety and design
Designed with safety, comfort, and performance in mind, the 9MDX is a compact and manoeuvrable machine that effectively carries high payloads in confined spaces and various ground conditions for a range of applications. It features a skip payload capacity of 6000 kg, allowing you to choose between a straight tip skip for bulk material movement or a 180-degree power swivel skip for precise load placement on either side of the machine.
With options for either Synchro-Shuttle or hydrostatic transmission, the 6MDX can reach a maximum speed of 25 kph (15 mph). For optimum safety and comfort, it can be equipped with a fully enclosed MDX cab, or a foldable ROPS roll bar, that is ideal for transporting the machine between job sites and operating in low areas.
All 6-tonne machines now come standard with Shield technology, with an option to upgrade to Shield Plus for enhanced safety on job sites.

Spacious self-cleaning steps provide stair-like access to the cozy cabin. Large glass panels and a forward-facing camera ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Entering and exiting the machine is always safe due to the stair-like access.
Thanks to the large, stair-like steps and full-length grab rails, the operator can access the cabin with minimal effort and reduced risk. The completely redesigned access system for the MDX site dumpers features generously sized self-clearing footsteps arranged like a staircase. The solid backplate significantly decreases the likelihood of material buildup on the steps, enhancing safety. With a full-length handrail on the A-pillar and an additional handrail mounted on the door, the operator can easily maintain three points of contact while entering the cabin.
Operators Environment
Operator comfort and ergonomics are always prioritized, whether you're using the fully glazed cabin or the ROPS/FOPS canopy with a windscreen.
What sets the Mecalac MDX range of dumpers apart is that the cabin or FOPS canopy is mounted on isolating mounts, which are specifically designed to minimize vibration and noise transmitted to the operator. Additionally, the controls for operators are strategically positioned to create a comfortable working environment.
