The electric version of the 12MTX aligns perfectly with Mecalac’s commitment to creating urban construction sites that are increasingly compact, efficient, and environmentally friendly. The design of the diesel 12MTX serves as a natural precursor to the electric version, as it allows for the seamless integration of Lithium Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt (NMC) battery technology in place of the engine.
This advanced battery technology offers superior weight-to-power ratios and excellent quality compared to conventional batteries, along with an optimized service life and enhanced safety.

The Mecalac e12 can be fully charged in just 8 hours. It delivers powerful performance throughout the day, providing 8 hours of uninterrupted operating time without the need for a recharge.

The Mecalac e12 is specifically designed for urban environments, featuring a structure that caters to city operations. Equipped with two independent electric motors—one for the front linkage and work tools and the other for the transmission—it is ideal for urban machine fleets.
In addition to its performance and operational autonomy, the e12 boasts a 100% electric transmission that delivers unmatched traction force from the moment it starts, along with energy regeneration during braking. The exceptional power density of the electric motors allows for a remarkably compact design, and they require no maintenance.

With a full 360° swing diameter of only 2710 mm (8’11’’), a 2.25 m (7’4’’) turning radius at wheels and an outstanding boom tilt angle (140°), the e12 only needs one road lane in urban areas to carry out its work. Traffic can continue with only a minimum of interruptions while the operator is able to work closer to the various obstacles he may come across.
Efficient, the e12 offers compactness, while capitalizing on all its functionalities and capacities with a minimal impact on city environments. Its articulated chassis allows it to move easily on any job site, and its agility also contributes to its overall performance.
