User-Friendly
Access for Easy Climbing and Descending
The machine's lowered centre of gravity makes the cabin easily accessible for the driver, minimizing effort and reducing risk.
The cab is designed to be 20% lower than comparable products on the market, which significantly eases entry and exit from the vehicle. Accessibility is further enhanced by a step that is seamlessly integrated into the machine’s design. This small step represents a significant advancement in improving safety on worksites.
The quest for simplicity: Driving our research
The MWR presents an innovative approach to interacting with construction vehicles. It features a completely redesigned ergonomic design, both inside and out, along with a unique interface that enhances accessibility and safety.
Every action taken by the driver is simplified, increasing protection for everyone on the worksite. When it comes to innovation, the principle of “less is more” is undoubtedly a key factor in Mecalac’s success.
Driving user-friendliness
Parking, work or road mode, in one single switch.
The innovative central selector enables the driver to effortlessly switch between road and parking modes with just one movement, removing the need for multiple manual actions, which typically range from 7 to 10. This exclusive feature allows for quick adjustments by simply selecting the desired configuration.
It ensures safe and efficient driving on construction sites, allowing the driver to concentrate on the tasks while maintaining full control of the machine.
Effortless Fuelling for Your Tank
The fuel tank is designed for easy access and is located on the undercarriage at a convenient height. This lower placement not only reduces the centre of gravity but also increases the tank’s capacity. As a result, drivers and fleet managers can refuel without needing to work at height, which eliminates potential hazards while operating the vehicle. Unlike most other excavators that have their fuel tanks mounted on the upper carriage, refuelling an MWR is straightforward and safe.
Connect ’attached’ to versatility
To make its machines ever safer and more versatile, Mecalac introduces connect, its patented quick coupler, notable for its lightness, integration, user-friendliness, reversibility, and perfect safety.
This system is operated from the cab, ensuring that there is no risk of the tool becoming detached during either connection or operation. It includes a detection system that alerts the driver if the tool is not properly secured, providing both visual and audible signals. Furthermore, the quick coupler is reversible and features an automatic play compensation function, making it the ideal connection between the tool and the machine!
Optimal
Performances
MWR machines are equipped with numerous technical characteristics for optimal construction site management on all types of terrain.
- Naturally balanced
- All terrain capacity
- Manoeuvrability

Naturally balanced
The new MWRs provide 360° iso-stability, ensuring consistent stability regardless of the upper carriage’s rotation angle. These advanced MWRs can lift, position, move, and unload without needing to change their location, significantly improving worksite logistics. Their remarkable stability allows them to maintain balance in any position and on any type of terrain. Whether they are traveling between sites during transfer operations or actively working, they excel at sustaining stability. This exceptional capability results in outstanding 360° lifting performance, which is truly impressive.
Performance Compactness
2.5 times more compact than a classic excavator
The new MWRs can be fitted with four steering wheels, allowing them to make a U-turn almost on the spot and effectively manoeuvre around obstacles. The objective is to enhance mobility in confined spaces.
Performance
Ground clearance
Mecalac’s design features a lowered centre of gravity that does not impact the ground clearance height. This unique aspect ensures the machine remains mobile on uneven terrain by maintaining a sufficient height to avoid scraping and minimize the risk of damaging the undercarriage.
Performance
From versatility to autonomy
Expertise is developed through experience. Our approach is founded on the principle that profitability should always be linked with ease of use and versatile functionality.
Mecalac provide exceptional visibility, manoeuvrability, and freedom on every construction site, ensuring optimal autonomy, regardless of the job, location, or corporate culture.
